The recording from which you can hear excerpts on this site was made on the night of the last performance, 29th November 1975. It was recorded using a very simple Philips cassette recorder with a single cardioid microphone. The equipment was therefore very basic, and this is reflected in the balance and general sound quality of the the recording.
Nevertheless, this is the only complete recording made of this production and, with the exception of a very short section at the start of Act One, it is complete.
Rather than put the whole opera on the Web, I've chosen some representative selections and provided texts of the songs.
A note on timings
My copy of the libretto has the following timings. I don't know which night they refer to:
Act Two - start 8.29 p.m., finish 9.22 p.m.
Act Three - start 9.38 p.m., finish 10.25 p.m.
Act One began at (or very shortly after) 7.30 p.m.
