Cleaning the Memorial in 2003

During the summer of 2003, the Commonwealth War Graves ommission engaged contractors to clean the bronze name panels on the Memorial.

This result in them being much easier to read, and now the names real glow in the sunshine. I took the initial photos for this site before the cleaning started, then some during the cleaning and some afterwards.
