March 1958. Radio Times included the following trailer:
The Primal Scene, as it were... a new programme by Henry
Reed, said to be the last in the series about Herbert Reeve's encounters with the
relatives and friends of the late Richard Shewin, March 11 & 14.
Radio Times has the following footnote to the first broadcast:
Dorothy Primrose is in Salad Days at the Vaudeville Theatre;
Dennis Quilley in Grab me a gondola at the Lyric Theatre, London.
