Lady Martin-Harvey : Miss N de Silva

Lady Martin-Harvey was born Angelita Helena Margarita de Silva Ferro in 1868.

She was the daughter of Don Ramon de Silva Ferro, Consul for Chile at the time of his marriage. According to her husband, he descended from the de Silvas of Mondonedo in Galicia, Spain. On her mother's side descended from Charles II through his grandson the Second Duke of Grafton.

She and Sir John had two chidren who both acted under a variety of names: Michael Martin-Harvey and Muriel Martin-Harvey.

She died in 1949 and is buried with her husband in East Sheen Cemetery, Surrey.
