This is an edited version of my main family history database, containing over 8,000 individuals.

It is particularly rich in families who lived in the Essex towns and villages of Wivenhoe, East Donyland (Rowhedge), Fingringhoe and Brightlingsea from about 1750 to 1920.

Bruce McIntosh's Birth Date Calculator. It's really simple to download and install, or just run from where it is online. As well as reminding you of the dates of all the UK censuses, it does some clever rounding to help with the ages in the 1841 census. It also gives you a perpetual calendar so you can find out what day of the week an event happened.
